Gps not bad - interface useless
The app claims to have the most accurate gps. I have found this to be fairly true. However it also has one of the most unintuitive useless interfaces of all of the running apps. This goes for the app and the site. For example - Just changing your default units from miles to km should be easy and should obviously affect the app and the site for your account. This is not the case. Weird - or just lazy programming? The gps seems to work well with previously defined routes and the interface to create new routes on the iphone is pretty good. However gps tracking the creation of new routes is just as inaccurate as the other apps. I imagine that this is unavoidable - but still... The app does claim gps accuracy without any other clairification. There also seems to be bugs in the information logging on the site. The average pace per km over all my runs is totally inaccurate. Again... these types of bugs seem too simple to be tolerated for an app that is the same price as its more polished competitors. It seems like more of a work in progress with some good ideas for improving gps accuracy.
